General Information
The Rush Henrietta - Jr. Royal Comets are a Not for Profit organization.
All of our Board of Directors and coaches participate on a voluntary basis.
We are affiliated with the “AYFCL” (American Youth Football/Cheerleading League Inc.)
and participate with teams in the Monroe County Section V- Division area.
All of our coaches are NYSCA certified Adults and the Referees are
Section V High School officials.
The philosophy and purpose of our organization is to provide an atmosphere for
both boys and girls to be involved in a program for either competitive football or
competitive cheerleading from the Rush Henrietta School District. In these programs they will be given an opportunity to learn
all the fundamentals of the sport through proper instruction and adult supervision.
Our organization will also promote and foster the community ideas of good sportsmanship,
honesty, loyalty, courage and integrity of supervised competitive sports. It shall be
the basic policy of our organization that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills
or the winning of games is secondary. Of primary importance are the development of
character and true sportsmanship in youth and the promotion of friendship and civic
responsibility among children, youth and adults.
