Rush-Henrietta Football
The Rush-Henrietta School District and the Rush-Henrietta
Jr. Royal Comets Football
have been talking football. Some of you may have received a
flyer covering this
topic. Please note that this flyer is a year old. Most of
the information is still
up to date, but some things may be out of date. It still
contains good information
though: The flyer states:
"This information is provided for middle school
(6th/7th/8th) aged students and
parents. It is intended to promote football in Henrietta as
well as show the unified
approach of the various programs that are offered in the
town. Each program is tailored
around mirroring the RH varsity program in fundamentals,
schemes and practice routines.
There is an emphasis across the board to teach the
fundamentals of football (blocking,
tackling, agility and football based knowledge), the RH
practice routines and conditioning
to become better football players. There are advantages to
each program depending
on the player needs/desires and there is visibility with the
RH Varsity program
regardless of program choice."
