General Cheer Information
Our Cheer Program:
The program will start the 2011 season on August 1st and
will run through late October early November. Prior to first game of the season
there will be up to 10 hrs of practice per week. After the first game of the
season, practices are limited to 6 hrs per week.
We have approved a attendance policy for 2011. Every
cheerleader and parent/guardian must read the policy and sign the agreement form
and return it to our Cheer Coordinator before practice begins. The policy can

The first game this year will be September 4th and most
games will be played on Sundays. The AYFCL is responsible for scheduling all
regular and post-season games.
There are various cheer competitions that the girls are
required to attend, including the year ending league competition which should
be on October 22nd, 2011. There is also a potential additional competition in
late November/early December for the A Squad girls.
Highlights Include:
# There are 4 squads based on age (see chart below).
# Each squad will cheer at 8 games per season, and a
pre-season game.
# There are at least 2-3 cheer competitions.
# Uniform (shell and skirt) is provided.
