General Cheer Information

Our Cheer Program:

The program will most likely start the 2010 season on August 2nd and will run through late October early November. Prior to first game of the season there will be up to 10 hrs of practice per week. After the first game of the season, practices are limited to 6 hrs per week. The first game this year should be September 5th and most games will be played on Sundays. The AYFCL is responsible for scheduling all regular and post-season games.
There are various cheer competitions that the girls are required to attend, including the year ending league competition which should be on October 23rd, 2010. There is also a potential additional competition in late November/early December for the A Squad girls.

Highlights Include:
# There are 4 squads based on age (see chart below).
# Each squad will cheer at 8 games per season, and a pre-season game.
# There are at least 2-3 cheer competitions.
# Uniform (shell and skirt) is provided.
